5k Memorial Run & Walk

In addition to competing on many sports’ teams, Dan enjoyed participating in various races to support charity events throughout South Jersey and Philadelphia. The Dan Melleby Foundation will sponsor its 2^nd annual 5K Run/Walk at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken on Saturday, September 12^th at 11:00 a.m. We hope to surpass last year’s highly successful 1^st Run/Walk, which included more than 700 participants.

Proceeds from this event will help to achieve the goals of the Foundation:

1. Provide an annual scholarship to a graduating student-athlete from Cherry Hill High School East
2. Support programs for school-aged children
3. Support programs for mental health, including suicide prevention
